This was one of the funnest shoots to date, even though at any chance given the boys insisted on removing almost all articles of clothing - note: the bow ties stayed.

When we were sitting around one day throwing around the idea of becoming fashion designers of our own label, we had to plan how we were going to sell our garments. For us it was an easy decision - online. Our online shop is through Etsy, a website dedicated to honouring handmade, unique, and vintage sellers around the globe. We have been avid buyers of all things Etsy for a long time, and thought it appropriate to stick with what we knew. 
This ethereal beauty you see in the photos is Rose. We can't thank you enough for bringing our collection to life and making our debut into the online world.

This here is a huge selection of all the inspiration us here at La Lune have compiled for our up and coming photoshoot. 
Dreamy, with natural light, big soft curled hair, nude heels, silver accessories, doe-eyed girls, natural and elegant make-up. The whole thing will be quite feminine, not too vintage, with just the right essence of cool. 
We're hoping, in someway to find an animal skull as a prop and decorate some props ourselves with things you wouldn't expect from such a shoot/ collection. 
We're keeping it quite cohesive to our runway show which will soon follow after, with an edgy track to what would otherwise be quite feminine, delicate and couture clothing. 
It's all still in the brainstorming stages, but oh, we have a great feeling that this shoot is going to be extravagant, stunning and absolutely breathtaking.

S P U R O F T H E M O M E N T

So the other day, after a meeting with a fashion and beauty editor in a local magazine, the team decided on a spur of the moment fashion shoot with our new Spring/ Summer 2011 collection (still growing). 

We were a little downhearted for a second, then all spirits were lifted with the golden hour sunset, beautiful clothes and glimmering gemstones. Who would have thought our own front yard and street would make a for a superb setting! 

Following the shoot we were informed of 2 fashion shows that we would be featured in shortly and 2 appearances in the magazine that we had met with a day previous. 

Needless to say the House of La Lune is buzzing with glee as we prepare 3 more looks for the runway in a weeks time! 

This weekend is the shooting of our Spring /Summer Lookbook which will feature the 3 new looks and we couldn't be more excited. xx
